Sankalpa + Sadhana: Your Personal Sacred Ritual

San - means the highest truth.

Kalpa - A vow of your highest truth. A seed that is already inside of you and linked to the idea and ability to manifest.

To live in our highest truth, it’s important that we do practices that support our desire to live in alignment with our truth. Creating sacred rituals and practicing these rituals becomes an act of self devotion and love. It is through these sacred rituals that we can experience balance and also grace in our daily rhythm.

Our senses and the material world constantly pull us outward, away from our inner consciousness. With deepening devotion we are encouraged to rediscover that spark within. It then becomes our first choice of identification in any given situation.

Self Inquiry / Journaling:

  1. What exactly is a devoted practice for you? Is your practice embodying all the parts of you meaning: physical, breath, heart, spirit and mind?

  2. Is there anything you can add to enhance your heart’s participation in the practice?

  3. What causes you to resist or forget your sacred practice?
